DWCC Shipping Conditions
ALL SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE CO-ORDINATED THROUGH JANAH MANAGEMENT CO LTD
BY THEIR APPOINTED SHIPPING AGENTS.
The Dubai Racing Club (DRC) will offer, through Janah Management Co Ltd and their appointed agents, to
co-ordinate the shipping of horses to and from Dubai after December 14, 2011.
The DRC will cover the cost of the return air freight of each horse accepted into the “DRC Quarantine Stables”,
based on three horses per pallet on existing scheduled service cargo routes, from their country of origin to Dubai
and return to the same point together with affiliated charges for UAE Import/Export.
Should owners wish to make alternative arrangements related to the return of their horses, they will be
responsible for all charges applicable to this change.
Unless sold, all DWCC horses must leave Dubai as soon as transport arrangements have been made. Owners
wishing to leave their horses in Dubai after the 2011 DWCC must gain approval from the DRC.
Horses that remain in Dubai 30 days AFTER the 2011 DWC forfeit their return transport subsidies.
The cost of transportation from Dubai International Airport to the “DRC Quarantine Stables” and return will be
covered by the DRC.
If owners wish to transport their horses to any country other than the country of origin they will be responsible
for all costs and arrangements.
Horses travelling from GCC countries will receive a travelling allowance based on the current commercial rate as
determined by the DRC.
Where charter costs are involved, reimbursement will be at the discretion of the DRC and Janah Management Co
Ltd.
Any International horse subsequently INVITED to run at the Dubai World Cup meeting on March 26, 2011, which
is already resident in Dubai, will be eligible for further benefits as per the Dubai World Cup policy.
PLEASE NOTE: Trainers’ staff will not be able to travel with their horses due to the current airline security and
clearance procedures.
